No place is there to enjoy the best nightlife rather than Thamel in Kathmandu valley. Some of the best nightclubs, bars, and Raggae bars are located here. LOD and Senate are major two nights clubs while Sam’s Bar is famous for Reggae music.
Spa and Natural Therapy
There are many natural therapy spas centers around Thamel that offer massages and saunas. If you are getting tired and exhausted, you can visit those spots. Deep Tissue massage to Thai and Ayurvedic Massages are provided in those massage centers.
Mostly it is recommended for those people who have just arrived from trekking routes and the massage is named a trekking recovery massage that will relieve your stress.
Wall Climbing and Archery Practice
One can even enjoy and practice wall climbing in Astrek center which is situated opposite of Loft Hotel.
Indoor Sports Arena is just next to Loft Hotel where you can practice Archery. Besides that, there is also futsal with PlayStation.
Walk around and Shopping
You can take a 1-2 hour walk around Thamel and Chhetrapati to explore some historical monuments like Temples, Gumba of Gathe Mangal. You can visit and buy Nepali and Tibetan Handicraft items.

Visit Garden of Dreams
Garden of Dreams is a classical garden located close to the historical Kaiser Mahal. In Nepali, it is called “Swapna Bagaicha”.

Dive in Infinity Pool
Located amidst Thamel, Hotel Mulberry has a swimming pool on its terrace. From where you can view some parts of Kathmandu valley taking warm sunbathe.
Visit Kaiser Library
Due to the devastating earthquake in 2015, the historical Kaiser building has been badly affected. But its library is still open. The library is free to visit and you can read many historical and modern books.
