Few Travelers

In the month of July, very few no. of travelers go to EBC as it is off-season. Almost all the trails of the Himalayas get free of human lives. So, it is easy to get a teahouse and lodges. If you are one who enjoys the solidarity and quiet environment, then you may love to trek EBC in July.

Beautiful Scenery

As it rains in the evening and at night, the very next morning will get to see the magnificent view of the Himalayan range.

Since it is monsoon season, you can expect lush green forests and blossoms of flowers along the trail.

Off-season offers

Because of the off-season, many tour operators may offer discount packages. In addition, domestic flights, hotel, and teahouse accommodations get cheaper which can attract most travelers.

Things to be considered for Everest Base Camp Trek in July

  • Find the best trekking agency to make your trip worthwhile and safe because it is a rainfall season. Otherwise, it is better to hire a guide and porter (At least a guide cum porter). Unfortunately, if you fall into some kind of trouble, your guide will be there to help you.
  • The best preparation for trekking gear includes warm-insulating clothing and a sleeping bag that should be waterproof.
  • Encountering the leeches on the way may be common. So it is good to carry anti-leeches spray or salt. Salt can be used to prevent leeches attack as it makes them dehydrated.
  • Make sure to check weather forecasting. If you find worse weather or the weather gets worse, it is wise to descend down or stay at a teahouse or lodge near you.
  • Since it usually rains in the evening, so it is better to start trekking early in the morning and reaches the destination earlier every day.
